how does Boutique teeth whitening work?
with the Boutique system, there are 3 main methods of teeth whitening:
1. Home Whitening: this involves on average, 14 consecutive nights of wearing a custom made thin mouthguard with a whitening gel. This is a very effective method and is recommended for most people.
2. In Surgery Whitening: there are many terms for this type of whitening and various methods are used to try to aid the whitening process including ultra violet light and lasers. This involves an appointment of just over an hour but has been shown by research not be as effective or long lasting as home whitening.
3. Combination Whitening: as the name implies, this method combines home and in surgery whitening. This is the most effective of the three and is recommended if teeth are particularly dark or resistant to the whitening process.
