If you have not been to a private dentist before, the cost is often the first question. Prices vary between practices, so the best thing any dentist can do is publish them clearly. Here is what treatment costs at Sweetsmile and what each fee covers.
Check-ups and hygiene
A new patient consultation costs £40. It includes a full examination of your teeth, gums and mouth, and a discussion about any concerns you have. Routine examinations after that are also £40.
A hygiene visit is £54, or £69 with Airflow stain removal. Most people benefit from a hygiene visit every six months, though some need it more often.
Fillings and repairs
White fillings: from £100
Crowns: from £565
Root canal treatment: from £340
Crown re-cement: £115
Extraction: from £200
Surgical extraction: from £350
“From” prices depend on the size and position of the tooth and how complex the work is. You will always get the exact cost before treatment starts.
Cosmetic treatment
Home teeth whitening: £395
Veneers: from £665
Invisalign: £1,900 per arch, with a free consultation
Children
